The village of Salem is a quaint place to visit and offers unique things to do, such as visit galleries featuring local artists, go antique shopping, and a stock up on fresh veggies and other products at the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays during the spring and summer months.

Walk or bike to the village of Salem to visit local shops on Main Street or take in a performance at the famed Ft. Salem Theater.

Village Restaurants & Shops:

    • Stewart’s – local convenience store for basic groceries, drinks, and gas; great ice cream!
    • Dollar General – bargain retail chain selling a range of household goods, groceries, beauty products & more.
    • The Salem Tavern – sports bar and restaurant. Open 7 days a week. Stop on in for great food, and great people. It’s all good!
